Contest Rules & Privacy

• Open to residents of the Greater Toronto Area, age 18 or older.
• Dogs must be real pets — AI-generated, stock, or fictional dogs will be removed.
• One entry per dog. Multiple dogs per household are welcome — submit each separately.
• Employees of Barks Back and their immediate family are not eligible to win.

• Submit your first name, email, dog's name, photo, and an optional social handle through the entry form.
• Photos must be JPG or PNG, max 5 MB.
• All entries are reviewed by our team before appearing in the gallery.
• Entries that are unsafe, offensive, or not a real dog will be rejected.

• Voting is free and open to the public.
• One vote per dog per device per day. Votes are tracked to prevent fraud.
• You cannot vote for your own entry from the same device you used to submit.
• Any attempt to manipulate votes (bots, scripts, vote-buying) will result in disqualification.

• The dog with the most verified votes at the end of the contest period wins.
• The winner will be contacted by email within 7 days of contest close.
• If the winner does not respond within 14 days, an alternate winner may be selected.

• Prize details: placeholder text — prizes to be announced.
• Prizes are non-transferable and have no cash equivalent.

• We collect your first name, email, dog's name, optional social handle, and photo.
• Your email is private and never shown publicly. It is used for entry confirmation and, if you opted in, Barks Back launch communications.
• Personal information is collected solely for this contest and Barks Back launch communications. We comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
• You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any message we send.
• You may request deletion of your entry by emailing us — see Contact below.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.
